L-career is a Labuan employment platform. This page explains how we handle your personal data, consistent with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Information we collect
Account details (email, name), profile information (work history, skills, education, preferences, languages), your conversations with L-career AI, and records of your applications and matches.
How we use it
We use this information to build your profile, match you with relevant jobs, process applications, and provide AI career support. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Where it's stored
Data is stored in a cloud database (Postgres, hosted by Neon). Conversations with L-career AI are processed through our own LLM infrastructure and are not shared with third parties for advertising or tracking.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used (page views, traffic sources). GA4 sets cookies and sends anonymized usage data to Google, which we use only to improve the service — not for advertising. If you prefer not to be measured, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or block cookies in your browser settings.
Your right to delete your data
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, conversation history, matches, and application records. This cannot be undone.
